Back in December, I wrote "If all goes well next spring and Walter remains healthy and injury-free, it will be a lot of fun to run him in what would be our first Regionals."
Well, fortunately, Walter has remained healthy, but unfortunately, he hasn't remained injury-free. There were some complications with the healing from his recent lumpectomy, so he's now looking at at least another two or three weeks of recovery time, which means we definitely won't be going to Regionals this year.
Still looking forward to watching friends' runs since Regionals is right here in our hometown.

Aww!! What bad timing! That's really a shame :(
See you at Regionals.

Yeah... it would have been fun for sure, and I was looking forward to getting some nice agility action shots by TTL. They take amazing photos; you're sure to get some nice ones of Mika!
I've admired their photography for years, their photos are awesome! I wonder if they'll be taking photos of the Steeplechase runs too...you could always run in Steeplechase at Nationals. Or you could do the one-day Qualifier at Nationals, if you got accepted, and of course if Walter could handle that many runs. (For example, I know Mika couldn't, but if Wall-e were in this situation he could for sure...unlimited energy!!)

Poor Walter, I hope he heals up quickly.
Hello! I have been reading your blog for a while now and love it.
I am currently teaching my lab agility and we are using weave-a-matics. I know you used those with Walter, and was wondering how you went about going from slanted to uprights. Hobbs is having some real trouble with that.
You can either comment back on my blog or email me.
Hi Brittany!
Always really nice to hear from people out in blog-land, so thanks for leaving a comment! Gonna go check out your blog right now :)
